Client Situation


A major international insurer was seeking to develop its experience and expertise of partnerships and affinity marketing in a number of territories including the Netherlands, Portugal, Thailand, Malaysia and India.

The partnerships' experience of other countries varied greatly and some local managers were unconvinced about the effectiveness of the channel.


Our involvement


Undertook a review of the partnerships' markets of a number of key European and Far Eastern territories and discussed the conditions in overseas operations with local personnel.

Provided tailored workshop sessions and exercises to assess how local propositions might work in different locations.

Developed and demonstrated techniques that could be adapted in different territories to develop sector and organisational strategies.

Outcome


Created local understanding of the opportunities and pitfalls of affinity marketing and facilitated sessions to share best practice in a range of territories.

Promoted a more strategic approach to partnerships, which has since been successfully developed in the organisation's Far Eastern markets.
